For teachers, the site includes corresponding lesson plans that meet Indiana academic criteria.

FutureINConstruction features exciting careers in the building trades and the educational and training opportunities for this field available in Central Indiana. Major Opportunities
Major Opportunities is a 16-week pre-apprenticeship program in the construction trades geared toward Indiana’s minority residents. Major Opportunities offers job and skill training to qualified people to prepare them for construction-industry jobs that pay good wages. Participants receive classroom instruction and will be matched for on-the-job training experience. Graduates will receive job-placement assistance in union and/or merit construction apprenticeship programs as well as other career paths.
